Farewell 2007. Welcome 2008.

2007 was quite a year for me. A lot of “life-changing” events happened.

  • January - April. I was in Cebu for the ECE Licensure Exam review. I also took the exam there. It was my first time being away for a long period of time since review started December 2006.
  • April - June. Went back to my hometown and results of the ECE Licensure Exam was released after a few days. Took oath and was already a full-fledged engineer last May. Enjoyed the remaining days of being unemployed.
  • June - December. Went to Manila with my father. After a month of job hunting, I was finally employed by mid-July and was transferred to a new office by August. December 2007 was the first time I had to spend the holidays away from home. I was all alone last Christmas and New Year’s eve but I went to Star City’s Snow World with some college friends though. It actually helped reduce the feeling of loneliness a little bit. ^^ I bought a PSP (PlayStation Portable) just before the holidays to keep myself “busy” and to be able to forget about the sadness(?). It also served as the Christmas gift to myself.

New Year’s resolution? Gain weight AGAIN! Since I moved, I have reduced a few pounds that I gained during my review in Cebu. :(

Plans for the year 2008? Actually, I haven’t ironed out my plans but as of the moment, I’ve been thinking of the following:

  • Definetly go back to Cagayan de Oro for the holidays!
  • Get back into mixing.
  • Get back into blogging.
  • Earn some more money! *haha*

I wonder what’s in it for me this year since I was born in the year of the rat too. Oh well, I consulted Mr. Wikipedia and here’s what he has to say about people born in the year of the rat:

leaders, pioneers, conquerors, charming, passionate, charismatic, practical, hardworking, highly organized, meticulous, systematic, intelligent, cunning, highly ambitious, strong-willed, energetic, versatile

Professions include espionage, psychiatry, psychology, writing, politics, law, engineering, accounting, detective work, acting, and pathology.

Read all here.

I hope it will be a better year. It’s not that 2007 wasn’t a good year but I’m just hoping for the best, always. ^^
