First time I saw the video of Optimus Prime transform into his robot form, I knew right then that the movie would be a hit. I can hardly remember when was it but I think it was about more than a year ago in Youtube. It was still in the making since there was no body color yet, but it was good. It had me patiently waiting for its release.

Upon its release, I was kinda worried if I could watch the movie since I still don’t have the budget for those kinds of stuff and also, movies here in Manila costs twice as much as in CdO. I was very anxious to ask my father about it, but finally, I had the guts to do so last Thursday. He told me that we’ll watch it together, so I was relieved.

The movie was amazing!! I didn’t expect it to be that full of humor. Made the viewers smile and laugh while being astonished by how automobiles and aircrafts transform into kick-ass robots. And as what the ‘fat guy with a cam’ said in the movie:

This (referring to Transformers) is a hundred times cooler than Armageddon!

Armageddon is also done by Michael Bay. Would you agree?

Anyway, in the animated series Bumblebee was Volkswagen Beetle. You ever wondered why he’s a Chevrolet Camaro in the movie? Hmmmm.. I think it’s too funny to look at some Beetle being chased by a Ford Mustang. Hehe Ohh, poooor Jazz. He had a piece of Megatron, I mean, he was split in two by Megatron. Hehehe Kinda liked his attitude, but sad to say he has to go. Won’t be able to see him in the sequel. Tsk tsk tsk. Yup. Sequel. Fo sure!

Soundtrack was a blast too! Linkin Park’s ‘What I’ve Done’ as well as Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Before It’s Too Late’. ;)

But at the end of the movie, I had a very big question mark hanging above my head saying, “What the hell happened to Barricade?” Anybody of you know? Please enlighten me.

I almost forgot, do you remember the part where the captain was supposed to call for air support and was talking a lousy call center agent? Well, you can really relate to it if you’ve seen the spoof in Call Center Movie. ;)
