First off, I’m very sorry for the lack of updates, been very busy for the last two weeks. I am currently in Makati, actively seeking my first employment. Fate has brought me here when a certain company called and scheduled me for an exam. But if it weren’t for my father being transferred from Cebu, I wouldn’t be here also.

It was quite an adventure travelling from Cagayan de Oro-Cebu-Manila. Quite a pain in the ass too! I had to drop by Cebu because as I had to go to Manila with my father. The ferry boat I took in CdO was scheduled for departure at 8pm, unfortunately it left 10pm. And I was already worried that time if I can make it the next day since flight to Manila is at 11:30am. The boat was about to dock at 10:30am when suddenly it moved away from the pier because of some crew’s fault not getting the line across. Another 30 minutes wasted. I got out of the pier at 11am and as planned, my father and I went directly to the airport. Arrived about 11:30 and we missed the flight!

The ticket we had was supposed to be a promo and since we missed the flight, my father had to pay Php2400+ for another ticket scheduled at 3pm. I really felt bad about it. I could have bought something nice with that money. I could have bought Her a gift! Argh! Oh well, it happened already. Can do nothing about it anymore, but it will be memorable. And I’m not going to ride that ferry boat again!

Anyway, it has been a week now since I’ve arrived here in Makati. And it has been a week that I’ve been eating at Chowking and Jollibee! Pffft! I live near the Makati Business District, and I can’t find “carenderias” around. Talk about healthy living. At least with Chowking, I can have a little bit of veggies. Hehehe

Well, I’m really hoping I could find my first job here. Until next time, I can’t use the internet here as often and as long as I want. :(
