Again.

I went to the computer shop last Monday and as promised, the in-charge was already on duty. As I entered the shop, she told me that my motherboard hasn’t arrived yet. Yeah right. I heard that a hundred times already. Told her that I have a mobo and was just inquiring if the processor has arrived from the manufacturer. She said yes. Ok. Fine. I presented the mobo and she received it for installation. Since the technician hasn’t arrived yet, I just left it there and went back the following day.

Good and bad news approached Bad news is the mobo I brought to the shop doesn’t work. Good news is the computer is up and running using another mobo. The in-charge then told me that I can actually bring the PC that day. Got so excited that I wasn’t able to check that the freakin’ board they installed can’t support hyper-threading! I just noticed it when I tried running it at home. What’s the use of my P4 2.8Ghz processor then? Sheeez. I had to send the unit back. Of course, I didn’t just settle for that mobo, I can’t get the best out of my processor. Now I have to wait again for the replacement.

Bad news to good news then back to bad news. Pfffft! Maybe I should let George Lindemann handle them. Then maybe they’ll scramble and get me my motherboard! ^^
